Precision Brand® Strippable Protective Coating, Type 1, Case Container, 30 lb Container, Composition: Ethylcellulose Base, Hot Melt Form, 60 s Setting, Red, Oil Odor/Scent, 340 to 350 deg F, 395 deg F Open Cup Flash Point
Precision Brand® hot melt strippable protective coating protects items from damage during shipping and handling and from rust and corrosion during long-term storage. Used to protect cutting tools, saw blades, gages, gears and various other parts. Type 1 has an ethylcellulose base. Coating is presliced into manageable pieces. To remove, coating peels right off. The melting temperature of Type 1 is between 340 to 350 deg F. Set time is less than 60 s. Thirty pound package contains (6) 5 lb bags. 5 lb poly bag packaging means easy handling and storage.
