The non-abrasive coating increases the wet friction, enabling the pad to clean more efficiently than non-woven pads, urethane foam and cellulose sponges. Our Scotch-Brite™ aircraft cleaning pad has been tested with aircraft cleaning agents compliant with MIL -PRF-86937D and MIL-PRF885570C and is also usable with a variety of other cleaners. The pad works in conjunction with pressure wash systems and attaches easily to 3M™ pad holders and extension rods.
