Seco's EPB 5867 improves tapping performances during synchronized tapping. The built in axial micro flexure (+/- 0.5 mm) prevents tap stress that may appear from micro-deviation of the synchronism between spindle rotation, feed and tap pitch. This micro compensation mechanism offers longer tap life, protects against tap breakage, increases productivity and improves thread quality.
